To make a Wither in Minecraft, follow these steps:
- Gather Materials:
- Collect 4 blocks of soul sand or soul soil.
- Obtain 3 Wither Skeleton skulls. These are dropped by Wither Skeletons found in Nether fortresses.
- Build the Wither Structure:
- Place the 4 soul sand blocks in a "T" shape on the ground: one block as the base and three blocks horizontally on top of it.
- Place the 3 Wither Skeleton skulls on top of the three horizontal soul sand blocks.
- Spawn the Wither:
- Once the skulls are placed on the soul sand "T," the Wither will spawn instantly.
- It will take a few seconds to charge up and refill its health bar before becoming aggressive.
Important Tips:
- Make sure there are no blocks obstructing the placement of the skulls.
- The world difficulty must be set to Easy or higher; the Wither will not spawn on Peaceful.
- Spawn the Wither in a safe, open area because it explodes upon spawning and is very destructive.
- The Wither shoots explosive projectiles and inflicts the Wither status effect, which can damage you over time.
This process is consistent across Minecraft versions and is the standard way to summon the Wither boss
