To make a group chat on Snapchat, follow these steps:
- Open the Snapchat app on your phone.
- Tap the chat icon at the bottom of the screen to go to the Chat screen.
- Tap the blue "New Chat" icon (usually at the bottom right).
- Select "New Group."
- Add friends to the group by tapping their names from your contacts or searching for them.
- Enter a group name to identify the chat.
- Tap "Chat with Group" to create the group chat and start messaging.
You can add up to 200 friends in a group chat on Snapchat
. Additional tips:
- To add more members later, open the group chat, tap the group name or icon at the top, then tap "Add Members" and select friends to add
- Group chats do not count for Snapstreaks with individual members
- You can mention group members by typing '@' followed by their username
