To get your M-PESA statement, you have two main convenient options: using the M-PESA App or via USSD code *334#.
Using the M-PESA App
- Download and install the M-PESA App from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iPhone).
- Log in using your M-PESA PIN or biometric authentication.
- On the home page, go to M-PESA Statements and tap See All.
- Select the month or set custom dates for the statement.
- Tap Export Statements and then Generate Statement to download the statement directly to your phone
Using USSD Code *334#
- Dial *334# on your M-PESA registered mobile line.
- Select My Account.
- Choose M-PESA Statement.
- Select Request Statement.
- Choose the type of statement (monthly, custom date range, full or mini statement).
- Enter and confirm your email address where you want the statement sent.
- Enter your M-PESA PIN to confirm.
- You will receive an SMS with a code to access your password-protected statement sent to your email
Additional Notes
- The service is free for all registered M-PESA customers.
- You can request statements for periods ranging from the last 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, up to 2 years.
- For statements older than 2 years or court-use statements without disclaimers, you must visit a Safaricom shop and fill out the necessary forms
- The statements are electronically stamped and verified by Safaricom, suitable for financial reconciliations and official use
This process allows you to conveniently access your M-PESA transaction history anytime without visiting a physical Safaricom shop.
