To get the Mask Shard in Deep Docks in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you need to have the Drifter's Cloak and Wall Jump (Cling Grip) abilities. Start from the room below the bench in The Marrow, then jump up to a small ledge before a lava lake. Use wall jumps to reach the upper level, dash right past enemies, and hop over metal platforms until you reach a path on the right. Continue along this path until you find the Mask Shard. Also, hitting the level to the right will open a shortcut in that area. You may need to defeat enemies in some rooms first to progress. The shard is located after an enemy-infested room on the border between The Marrow and Deep Docks, north of the Bellway fast travel point. This shard rewards you by increasing maximum health after collecting enough mask shards.
