To double space in Microsoft Word, you have several straightforward options depending on whether you want to double space the entire document or just part of it:
Double space the whole document
- Open your Word document.
- Go to the Design tab on the ribbon.
- Click on Paragraph Spacing (located near Colors and Fonts).
- Choose Double from the dropdown menu to apply double spacing (2.0) to the entire document
Double space only part of the document
- Select the paragraphs or text you want to double space.
- Go to the Home tab.
- Click on the Line and Paragraph Spacing button (it looks like lines with up/down arrows).

Alternative method using Paragraph settings
