To do a screen recording, the steps vary depending on your device: On iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center.
- Tap the gray Screen Recording button (circle icon).
- Wait for the 3-second countdown, then recording starts.
- To stop, tap the red status bar or the Screen Recording button again
On Windows 10 or 11:
- Press Win + G to open Xbox Game Bar.
- Click the Record button to start capturing your screen.
- To stop, press Win + G again.
- The video saves to Videos > Captures folder.
- Alternatively, on Windows 11, you can use the Snipping Tool by pressing Windows + Shift + R to start recording, select the area, and save as MP4

- Choose recording options (sound on/off), then tap Start.
- To stop, tap the stop button or notification
On Chromebook:
- Press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows (the key with a rectangle and two lines).
- Switch to the recorder option.
- Select full screen or partial area.
- Click Start to record; stop when done.
- The video saves to Downloads folder
