To change your PLDT WiFi password, follow these steps:
- Connect to your PLDT WiFi network.
- Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address: http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
- Log in to the admin dashboard using the default credentials:
- Username: admin
- Password: 1234
(If you have changed these before, use your updated credentials)
- Once logged in, navigate to the Network or Wireless settings section.
- Look for WLAN or Security settings, then find the Security Mode and set it to WPA2-PSK or WPA2 mixed for better security.
- Locate the field labeled Pre-shared Key , Passphrase , or WiFi Password and enter your new desired password.
- Optionally, you can change your WiFi network name (SSID) in the SSID Name field.
- Click Apply or Save to confirm the changes. Your router may restart or briefly disconnect devices while applying the new settings
- Reconnect your devices using the new WiFi password.
