To change the default browser on an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on "Apps."
- Find and tap the browser app you want to set as the default (for example, Chrome, Firefox, or another browser).
- Tap "Default Browser App."
- Select the browser you want to use as the default. A checkmark will appear next to it, confirming the change.
After this, links you open in emails or messages will automatically open in your chosen browser instead of Safari. You can change back to Safari or any other browser anytime using the same process. Note that you need iOS 14 or later to be able to do this.
