To add people to a group text, the steps depend on the device and messaging platform you are using. Here are the general instructions for iPhone and Android:
Adding People to a Group Text on iPhone (iMessage)
- Open the Messages app and select the existing group conversation you want to add someone to (the group must have at least three people already).
- Tap the group icons or the group name at the top of the conversation.

- Tap "Add Contact" or the plus (+) button.
