To add the Developer tab in Excel, follow these steps:
- Click on the File tab in Excel.
- Select Options at the bottom of the menu to open the Excel Options window.
- In the Excel Options window, click on Customize Ribbon in the left sidebar.
- On the right side, under the list of Main Tabs , find and check the box labeled Developer.
- Click OK to confirm.
After this, the Developer tab will appear in the Excel ribbon and remain visible every time you open Excel until you choose to hide it again
. Alternatively, you can right-click any existing tab on the ribbon, select Customize the Ribbon... , and then check the Developer box in the same way
. The Developer tab provides access to advanced features such as macros, VBA editor, form controls, and add-ins, which are useful for automation and custom functionality in Excel
