The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charge for vehicles that do not meet the emissions standards in London is £12.50 per day in 2025. This daily charge applies 24 hours a day, every day of the year except Christmas Day. If the ULEZ charge is not paid, a penalty charge of £180 (which can be reduced to £90 if paid within 14 days) may be issued. This charge is applicable for cars, motorcycles, and vans up to 3.5 tonnes that do not meet the required ULEZ emission standards.
