The London Congestion Charge is a daily fee of £15 if you pay in advance or on the same day you drive within the Congestion Charge zone. If you pay by midnight of the third day after travel, the charge increases to £17.50. The charge applies Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. No charge applies between Christmas Day and the New Year's Day bank holiday (inclusive)
. If you do not pay the charge within three days, you will receive a Penalty Charge Notice of £180, which reduces to £90 if paid within 14 days. The charge is a flat daily fee regardless of how many times you enter or exit the zone in one day
. There are exemptions and discounts available, and vehicles that do not meet Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) standards must also pay the ULEZ charge separately
