how much do others know you

Others may know some aspects of a person, such as behaviors, likes, or habits, but often do not know the full inner self or private thoughts of that individual. People tend to have "blind spots" and hidden areas that others do not see, and there are even parts people themselves do not fully know. Interestingly, research shows that while people are often good at assessing their own internal traits like anxiety, friends or even strangers can be more accurate judges of visible traits like intelligence, creativity, or extroversion. This means others can sometimes know some parts of a person better than the person knows themselves. Overall, how much others know depends on how much a person shares and what is visible in interactions, but there will always be aspects unknown or private to each individual.
