Iran does not currently have nuclear weapons. Despite this, Iran has not yet produced a nuclear bomb, and its breakout time to acquire one is still uncertain, with estimates ranging from a few months to about a year depending on various factors like international inspections and covert developments. Iran has also not acquired spent fuel reprocessing technology, which is another route to nuclear weapons through plutonium production. In summary, Iran has the material and capacity that could enable nuclear weapon development in the near future but does not currently possess operational nuclear weapons.
