There are six granaries in Harappa. These granaries were arranged in two rows of six each, built on raised platforms to protect the grain from floods. The granaries had ventilation systems to prevent the grains from becoming mildewed, and nearby circular brick platforms likely served as threshing floors. Additionally, two-roomed barracks near the granaries possibly accommodated laborers
. It is important to note that while Harappa had six smaller granaries, the largest granary structure, known as the Great Granary, was found at Mohenjo- daro, not Harappa
