There are seven deadly sins according to Roman Catholic theology. These seven deadly sins are:
- Pride
- Greed
- Lust
- Envy
- Gluttony
- Wrath
- Sloth
These sins are considered to be the foundational vices that can lead to other sins and immoral behavior. They were first enumerated by St. Gregory the Great in the 6th century and later elaborated by St. Thomas Aquinas in the 13th century.
