A standard deck of playing cards contains 52 cards. These 52 cards are divided into 4 suits:
- Hearts
- Diamonds
- Clubs
- Spades
Each suit has 13 cards:
- Numbers 2 through 10
- Jack
- Queen
- King
- Ace
In addition, many decks also include 2 Joker cards, but these are not part of the standard 52-card deck used in most games.
