There were a total of 423 arrests made over the two main days of the Notting Hill Carnival in 2025. On Sunday, there were 140 arrests (105 at the Carnival and 35 on the approaches), and on Monday, 223 arrests (177 at the Carnival and 46 on the approaches) were recorded. These arrests included offenses such as assault on police (32), possession of offensive weapons (46), possession of cannabis (70), possession of Class A drugs (32), drug supply (44), robbery (5), sexual offenses (18), and other offenses. The police used live facial recognition technology to identify and arrest 52 suspects. Despite the number of arrests, the police reported far fewer serious violent incidents than in previous years, with two stabbings that did not result in life-threatening injuries.
