The AP Human Geography exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes long in total. It consists of two sections:
- Section I: Multiple Choice - 60 questions to be answered in 1 hour, accounting for 50% of the exam score.
- Section II: Free Response - 3 questions to be answered in 1 hour and 15 minutes, also accounting for 50% of the exam score.
