To take a screenshot, the method depends on your device and operating system: On Windows:
- Press Windows key + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool overlay, then select the area you want to capture. The screenshot is copied to the clipboard and can be edited or saved from the Snipping Tool window
- Alternatively, press Print Screen (PrtSc) to capture the entire screen to the clipboard, or Alt + PrtSc to capture the active window
- You can also use the Snipping Tool app by opening it from the Start menu, selecting a snip mode (rectangle, window, full screen, or freeform), and capturing the screen
On Android devices:
- Press and hold the Power button + Volume Down button simultaneously for 1–2 seconds to take a screenshot
On Mac:
- Press Shift + Command + 3 to capture the entire screen.
- Press Shift + Command + 4 to capture a selected portion of the screen, then drag to select the area.
- Press Shift + Command + 4 , then press the Space bar to capture a specific window or menu
