To screen record on an iPhone, follow these steps:
- Add Screen Recording to Control Center (if not already added):
- Open Settings.
- Tap Control Center.
- Scroll down to More Controls.
- Tap the green + button next to Screen Recording to add it to your Control Center
- Start Screen Recording:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center.
- Tap the Screen Recording button (a circle within a circle). It will turn red after a 3-second countdown, indicating recording has started.
- To record audio along with the screen, press and hold the Screen Recording button, then tap the Microphone icon to turn it on before starting the recording
- Stop Screen Recording:
- Tap the red status bar or the red recording indicator at the top of your screen, then tap Stop.
- Alternatively, open Control Center again and tap the Screen Recording button to stop
- Access Your Recording:
- The video is automatically saved to the Photos app.
- Open Photos and find your screen recording in the library to view, edit, or share it
Notes:
- Some apps may restrict screen recording or audio capture.
- You cannot record your screen while using screen mirroring
