To know if you have AppleCare coverage on your Apple device, you can check it easily using the device itself or online:
Check AppleCare on Your Device
For iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Tap About.
- Tap Coverage (or look for AppleCare & Warranty).
- Here, you will see if your device has AppleCare coverage, the plan name, and expiration date. If you don’t have AppleCare, it will show limited warranty or coverage expired
For Mac:
- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner.
- Choose System Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty (or Coverage).
- You will see your Mac’s warranty and AppleCare status and details about repairs and support included
Check AppleCare Online
- Go to checkcoverage.apple.com.
- Enter your device’s serial number (found in Settings > General > About on iPhone/iPad or Apple menu > About This Mac on Mac).
- Follow the instructions to see if your device is covered by AppleCare or Apple’s limited warranty
Alternatively, you can:
- Visit mysupport.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Under My Devices , select your device.
- The Coverage tab will show AppleCare status and details
Using the Apple Support App
- Download the Apple Support app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
- Tap your account icon and then Check Coverage.
- It will list all devices linked to your Apple ID with their AppleCare status
These methods allow you to quickly verify whether your device is protected by AppleCare and what coverage you have. If you see AppleCare+ listed, your device is covered under that plan. If not, it may only have the standard limited warranty or no coverage at all
