Some MLAs become ministers through the following process:
- After state elections, the political party that wins more than half the constituencies becomes the ruling party.
- The MLAs of this ruling party elect their leader, who becomes the Chief Minister.
- The Chief Minister then selects some MLAs from the ruling party to become ministers.
- These selected MLAs are appointed as ministers by the Governor of the state.
- Each minister is assigned specific departments or ministries to manage.
Thus, not all MLAs become ministers; only those chosen by the Chief Minister from the ruling party are appointed to lead various ministries
