Kobe Bryant died on January 26, 2020, in a tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. He was flying with eight others, including his 13-year- old daughter Gianna, to a youth basketball tournament. The helicopter crashed into a hillside in thick fog and burst into flames. All nine people on board were killed instantly due to blunt trauma from the impact.
