Jason Todd came back to life primarily through a combination of DC Comics' complex storyline events and the intervention of characters associated with resurrection powers. His actual resurrection occurred after Superboy-Prime punched reality, causing temporal ripples that restored Jason Todd to life. After breaking out of his grave and wandering far from it in a severely injured state, Jason was found by Talia al Ghul. She and her father Ra's al Ghul immersed him in a Lazarus Pit—an alchemical pool known for its healing and restorative properties—which healed his physical injuries and restored his memory, but also caused significant mental instability. This resurrection process was marked by a year-long coma, amnesia, and eventual revival to become the antihero known as the Red Hood, seeking revenge on the Joker and at odds with Batman for sparing the Joker's life.
