Caden Giles “Cade” Goodnough, age 20, from Flower Mound, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2025. He was a junior at Arizona State University, remembered as a bright, kind, and joyful young man deeply involved in his faith and loved by many friends and family.
Life and Legacy
Cade was born on January 18, 2005, in Grapevine, Texas, to Chad and Kimberly Goodnough. He graduated from Flower Mound High School in 2023 and attended Arizona State University, where he was an enthusiastic business management major and characterized by a creative spirit and commitment to Christian values. Cade participated in youth Christian camps and was known for his warm energy as “DJ Cade,” his caring heart, and his joy for spending time with family and friends.

The ASU and Flower Mound communities, along with organizations like Elevate Parking where Cade worked, have shared heartfelt condolences and tributes to his memory. His fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, and his colleagues honored him with vigils and memorial ribbons.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. CST at RockPointe Church, Flower Mound, Texas. Memorial contributions can be made in Cade’s honor to the Arizona State Student Ministry Fund (StuMo), supporting campus ministry efforts at ASU.
Family
Cade is survived by his parents Chad and Kimberly, brothers Kyle and Cole, grandparents Ervin Nemec, Jean Goodnough, and Corinne Nemec, and several aunts and uncles. He was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather Roy Goodnough.
Though his passing was sudden and details remain private, Cade’s legacy is one of light, kindness, and faith, treasured by those who knew him.
