who made avatar the last airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. They are the co-creators and executive producers of the show, which originally aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. The two met while students at the Rhode Island School of Design and developed the concept together, eventually bringing it to life at Nickelodeon Animation Studio.
