Coachella's 20th anniversary was celebrated in 2019. The festival took place on two weekends, April 12–14 and April 19–21, 2019. A documentary titled "Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert" was released in 2020 to mark the 20-year history of the festival.
Regarding the 2020 edition, it was originally scheduled for April 10–12 and April 17–19 but was postponed and later cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so there was no event held in 2020 to mark the exact 20th year.
