To get the Orb Weaver Buggy in Grounded 2, the main steps are:
- Complete the main story content, including defeating the final boss. This unlocks the Network Center Turbo Optical Disc.
- Obtain the Optical Disc from the final boss area and bring it back to the Ranger Station. Insert the disc to unlock the Orb Weaver Buggy and Spider Nest crafting recipes, costing 5,000 raw science to craft.
- Find an Orb Weaver egg, which is located near the decapitated body of the robot Burgle in the middle of the map. The eggs are guarded by Orb Weaver spiders.
- Bring the Orb Weaver egg back to your hatchery. You will need to have built the hatchery and the ant nest structures to incubate and store the buggy.
- Incubate the egg in the hatchery for 24 in-game hours to hatch the Orb Weaver Buggy.
- The Orb Weaver Buggy has strong combat abilities, like web throwing and an intimidate ability that stuns enemies. It can also walk on spider webs.
Important to note: You must progress far enough in the story to get the Optical Disc before you can hatch the buggy. Using an ant mount helps carry the egg faster back to base. This process unlocks a powerful combat buggy companion, different from the resource-carrying ant buggy, enhancing combat and mobility in Brook Hollow Park in Grounded 2.
