To activate Public Bank's SecureSign (PB SecureSign), follow these steps:
- Application and Registration:
- Log in to the PB engage MY mobile banking app.
- If not previously activated on another device, the app will prompt you to activate PB SecureSign.
- If previously activated on another device, unbind that device through Settings > Device Management in the app, then proceed.
- Register by verifying your identity with your bank-registered IC, passport, or Armed Force number.
- Set a new 6-digit SecurePIN and optionally register biometric approval (fingerprint/Face ID).
- Validate activation using your registered PAC or SecureSign Token.
- Activation Methods:
- Visit a Public Bank ATM or CRM machine.
- Go to any Public Bank branch for biometric verification.
- Contact Public Bank via email at [email protected] for assistance.
- After Activation:
- There is a mandatory 12-hour cooling-off period before using PB SecureSign.
- Use PB SecureSign for secure transaction approvals via biometric recognition or SecurePIN.
Additional Notes:
- Activation cannot be completed solely by phone or email support; a physical activation step at an ATM or branch is required.
- Device binding ensures only authorized devices access your account.
- The SecureSign token may require initializing with a 6-digit PIN.
This process enhances security by replacing SMS OTP with biometric or PIN- based authentication for online transactions.
