The current worldwide membership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly known as Mormons) is approximately 17.5 million people as of 2025. However, it is estimated that the number of active or self-identifying Mormons is less, around 5 million globally. The United States has the largest Mormon population with about 6.9 million members, followed by Mexico and Brazil with over 1.5 million each. Other countries with significant Mormon populations include the Philippines, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
